Dr. Lorraine Ofori-Awuah completed her undergraduate and medical education in Ghana. She then underwent her three year Internal medicine residency at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Towson, Maryland, an affiliate of the Johns Hopkins University Hospital.

She obtained her board certification in Internal Medicine in 2004. Dr. Ofori-Awuah has been in practice since 2004, and has a wide range of experience in in-patient, outpatient and nursing-home patient care.

She has a strong focus on preventive health and weight management. Dr Ofori-Awuah is the director of The Center for Medical Weight Loss program at White Marsh. She is a member of the Med-Chi Medical Society and the American College of Physicians.
